There was this tank that tried to run straight from the beginning to the end boss in Sastasha. His excuse? "I just really wanna fight the boss!" -facepalm- :/

Sounds like about every run in A4 I do... I'm also used to take one row of 3 by myself, orb>cure>orb>tetra>orb and then I have all the time in the world to cure myself. Yet, everytime there is THAT guy who just can't stand still and will try to outrun me, causing 2 orbs to explode at us. I usually get out of it alive, as we healers have a higher Mdef, but the dps always dies. And I can't stop cursing out loud

Dude, right? I can take all six by myself if I have to (scholar OP) but DPS act like I'm glass or something. It's like, you see me with a galvanize up camped out right in front of an orb yet you run over there and explode it on both of us and now I have to heal you too. It's even more frustrating when Perpetual Ray takes out either me or the DPS that blew the orb up on me. Dx

So much this. I can't tell you how many times the DPS have left all three dolls putting their filthy stacks on me. I usually cleric stance and pick one up myself just so it doesn't run to the middle, but that's pointless if the other two are there as well... =.=

I've made it a habit to pick up and kill one of the dolls myself, because there's always some DD who is focused and won't do it. I'm pleasantly surprised whenever someone comes to help me.

I've been wondering, are the orbs affected by magic or physical? You'd assume magical, but when i tested this with a BLM having both Manawall and Manaward up.... the buffs didn't disappear, yet i would still take the full damage of a orb. Meaning i didnt get by physical OR magical. i dont know what happened there, i found it weird.

I want to say magical, but it could be one of those weird cases where it only gets reduced by non-specific reduction. I know Foresight doesn't work for sure, but other reductions do. Might have been lag, but I suppose I'll test it out myself sometime just for sure..

Let the other healer take all the agro. Take one of the mobs to you. Pray the other healer is healing enough to take the mobs agro and pray you're not missing every Stone3/Broil/Malefic 2. Only way I know how to salvage it and halfway through the DPS might actually realize there are mobs around. Though doing this just reminds me how much I hate derpDPS and accuracy.

Tank in The Vault with ilvl120 gear that he glamoured to look like ilvl170 (he was a wizard!)... he was a little squishy.

Ps: Wish he hadn't turned the boss towards me just as he did his cone attack. That hurt.
