will error 1017 be finally removed? maintenance question

I do hope that before they implement the afk system, they should atleast increase the capacity of their server.

I sure hope so, it's infuriating. If you want to give me a 5000 man queue be my guest but don't just say world full or even lie and say unable to access the servers when I can see on a site that they're all up. To me thats the real issue here, and its why it takes some people 6 hours or all day to get in

Lol yeah I love it when I get message saying can't not access servers while my husband is playing. And I would rather sit in a que of 5000 myself over the server full try again later. Because later is not helpful at all. Try telling your boss the freeway is full and you'll be in later. Of course your boss will demand you get in asap. But in this case we all know later really means spam 0 or X or you'll never get on.

i am considering re rolling on one of the new servers. a totaly fresh start since i havent realy been able to get into one character very well due to these issues

Well if they dont expand the server capacity chances are, in 2days time, the new servers will have error 1017 as well

From my knowledge, they are adding more worlds - which could lead to possible free server xfers to lower population - and they are increasing server caps and the queue caps. So if they increase the queue caps, then yes 1017 will be gone hopefully, because that is what 1017 was; was a full queue.

I'm hoping they at least up the capacity to 25000 per server! In this day and age of MMOs that is a realistic figure. 5000 was so far below the norm its just silly...especially for a game which has such a gigantic fanbase.

Agreed. Im surprised they placed a very limited capacity on their servers. I guess se doesnt have that much confidence in this game and expected only a few population. But oh well, yoshi said that if this maint actually fixed the queue, they are planning on extending the capacity of every server on wednesday

Because 1017 isn't an error. It's an automated message. If it was an error, an issue with the game's coding, connection, or data corruption would be causing it.
