about buying euro version of FFXIV

hey guys, I did not buy the game yet... And I want to buy the collector's edition for PC and I just found Euro versions of it.

My account that I used to play on the betas is NA, is there a problem? Will I be able to register the key on my NA account? The fee will be on Euros or Dollars? Thanks

I just don't want to have to create another account and lose my characthers from the beta.

You'll have to make a fresh EU account (otherwise you'll run into the code region-lock issue). You'll have to start fresh. And likely you'll be paying in euros.

I see, even though I can log in using this account on eu.square-enix. But I think it's just because the both sites, NA and EU, have the same structure now.

I'll if I buy this euro version or just buy a regular NA version, thanks

you need a new se account that is registered under the eu region to play the eu collector's edition (i encountered this problem at launch because my beta phase 4 was played on a NA account so all progress lost lol). however, u r still able to play in a NA or JP server.

That's just sad, I think i'll probably get a digital version then =/
