Balanced leveling, story and general questing...

We are a week in game, and already I am seeing people with the "magitech armor" mount meaning they have seen end game.
O.K... for 1, this should not be possible EVER! "one week full story done?" might as well sit down read a $5 book over paying $30 and a $15 subscrip.

You forget that many, many people were already leve 50 and are able to not only reach this content quickly (with a lot of coffee), but are helping gear and level newbie friends to do the same.

Which isn't a bad thing, it is just some people prefer to play the game differently.

That said... if you assume the magitek mount = end of game content, you will be sorely mistaken.

    Continue...

I have been playing GuildWars2 "$50 and no subscriptions fees" 4 hours a day three days maybe a week and am maybe three quarts the way through just the story since release, this is not including the endless quests I continue to stumble on. Not once have I run into a quest that told me I need to come back after "GRINDING" 10 lvls to continue.

Then there is the long "grinding" sessions.
I hit lvL 30, I cannot take the next quest in the story line till I reach lvl 40, "no biggie, if there was a way to earn exp out side of the story other than chasing fates all day or "grinding" just useless mobs" I say useless because they drop nothing but items that sell for crap on a general vendor" again I feel "forced" to to indulge in a part of the game I care less about.

I am at a point right now I am running out of gill, I built up a good amount during the first limited amount of quests in 30 lvls, and am at a stand still, it would seem if you can't do quests you earn no gill.
There is no reason I should't be able to go from A-B on a map, and not make at least enough to transport someplace if need be, or afford that piece of armor I traveled so far to find.
I should not feel "forced" to have to dabble in crafting "if that is not my cup of tea" to get by, it is rude to "force" this app-on someone...

You're commenting on something you haven't done yet. GW2 story can be beaten in under a 2 days played casually, if you're going slow that's your choice. You haven't completed FFXIV's story yet. You're clearly lying by saying you hit level 30 and it's telling you you can't do the next story line quest till 40, because there is about 5-15+ main story quests per level up until 45.

If you're having this many problems, maybe FFXIV isn't the game for you.
