patch 1.17a maint the april 25

I guess I could voice my concerns here.

There should be more consistency when it comes to patches. Last time we got a "Testing in Progress" thread for 1.16a, but after that we have seen no further use of the sub-forum. If possible, it would be nice to know at least tidbits of the patch a bit beforehand. Especially if this "mid-month" patch is slightly larger than 1.15b and 1.16a were.

Agree its really odd how they haven't used those sub-forums since patch 1.16a

Now someone clear this up for me, was 1.17 70% and 1.17a supposed to 30% or was it the other way round.

Because if 1.17a is the 70% one then we are in for a treat :O

Majority was in the 1.17.

This is the normal, although slightly larger mid-monthly patch (aka 1.15b, 1.16a). I hope you've all gotten used to them by now.

1.17 = 70%. 1.17a = 30%.

Don't expect a ton in this one folks, it will still be progress though and progress is a good thing.

They do a, b, c etc for suplimentary patches to the main one, 1.17

Good find. I don't expect much, (minor fixes) but I'm happy that the pace of progress seems to be quickening.
