If all you want to do is run dungeons and raids once you get to max level then the game should support you enough to do this.

This is a game after all. Something that people do in their leisure time for fun and relaxation. If I have to play 3-4 days a week grinding minuscule amounts of Gil just so I can run a few raids and dungeons then the game is severely flawed.

This needs to be fixed and fixed fast. You can't let the economy drain its Gil then introduce a way to make it. Must patch in a way to make more Gil now or take out some of the Gil sinks or his very fun game will fail again.
I'm sorry, but I disagree with your thought about the game supporting "your" style of play entirely. It is true, that the system has to be self sustaining, but you cannot expect them to tailor a game to every single style of play that a player wishes to partake in. If they did so, then the game it self would fall apart.

There are certain real life facets that must be implemented into every game to make it successful. In this particular case, an economy that is based on supply and demand that is dictated by the players and not by the system.

I personally have no problem with gil since I spend some of my time farming, some of my time crafting, and some of my time in the dungeons. When you spend so much of your time towards on endeavor, then of course your will lose out in all the other areas of "interest." In this case, making money.

At this point, I have increased the amount of my I have made by 30k gil, have most jobs above, or at, level 20, and can craft the gear needed for each level I am currently at. Delegation of time is what is important here, not the speed at which you achieve your end goal.
