I weep for logic and common sense. It's always a me me me me me me mentality. It seems very few understand that once the initial infusion of gil through doing every quest is tapered off by fewer and fewer subs that the economy will overall be stagnant or worse deflating.

the AH taking a cut literally removes gil from the game, basically permanently and depending on how much you're selling an item for, at a far higher rate than is being introduced. Repairs, Teleports, etc... all remove gill from the game permanently.

Putting gil in the game is done via quest rewards, vendoring items, fates, leves, guildhests dungeons... The AH does NOT put gil INTO the economy. The AH moves gil from one players bank to another players bank, while removing x% for transaction fees.

I know people that have paid 6k in a repair bill, and I personally at 38 paid 1200g in a repair bill. Shuffling money from one players bank to another is not an influx of NEW gill, it is a movement of OLD gil and even a REMOVAL of a % of that old gil. It will take awhile, because the game is so new, and many people will level more than one character. But eventually, the way things currently are, the economy will become at best stagnant and at worst deflate, leaving the gil in the hands of few... eventually even those few will have no way to continue making gil.
