Another patch that needs to be torrented?

Every patch that I'v had to download never completes using the FFXIV patcher. It always starts off at 10mbps then stops shortly after with this alert

I know quite a few people have had this issue, and for it to still be a problem after the launch of the game is kind of ridiculous. Im using the most up to date client from the last updates (before todays patch) and the game loaded fine...but now that it's patch time im stuck downloading yet another torrent. It would be nice to load a 1gb patch than a 9.2gb torrent every time new content is released.

What we really need most is patch that can be resume upon downloading if things goes wrong.

mine used to when it was the beta client, now it restarts the thing after each crash.

I've downloaded the patch to full twice now and as soon as it gets to full it tells me an error has occurred and I have to start over...can anyone help fix this? I want to play

im try help my buddy get his working as well he getting 11006 20819 20813 19900 23 code. So im guessing he might have to go and torrent the download i hate for him to do that because he not too good Technology in general. If im not there to hold his hand though the thing be might just get every Virus on the web on his pc. sigh

Check with your ISP first and see if they're throttling you. With large files, they may be cracking down on illegal file sharing (Yes, I know, ISP shouldn't be looking into what you're doing, but many are doing just that) I've never had any issues and never heard of people having issues with patching, so this could just be isolated pockets of issues with certain ISPs. Would help if people with this problem also report who their ISP is and where they live, etc.

Same issue here, same error messages. I have never been able to download the game or patch via the launcher. I have never gotten past 350MB on a download and have had to torrent the full 9GB+ game after every patch. I have downloaded every other MMO through its launcher with no issues. I do not believe I am being throttled by my ISP, as I have never had another issue with downloading files even larger than this patch. I have tried to install on other PCs in my home with no luck.

Curious how large of an issue this is for everyone else. I am unable to play until someone posts a new torrent and enough seeders seed to make the download reasonable.

Any more ideas?
