it's cool. me and a few of my FC-mates (? is this even a thing?) where messing around pugging HM garuda and got told by some gladiator that our gearscores were too low and he wished all stupid n***ers that queued for garuda without a high enough gearscore would kill themselves or some such nonsense. pretty sure gearscore isn't even in this game. thanks wow, for this beautiful addition to the mmo community.
great thing is we had garuda on farm status![]()
This was actually about twenty minutes before the servers went down. It was awesome though, after that first sour experience with those guys that just dumped us, I had no hope of completing it before the servers went down, but alas, this awesome Lala scholar joined us and guided three newbs through the dungeon with ease. (aside from my dying by my own fault on the King a few times and causing us to wipe >< Still was able to do it with about 10 mins remaining when we won)Yeah i had that experience when i hit 50 on smn/scholar people dropping out because we were knew, eventually once i got experienced with the dungeon i started to walk through new players on all the bosses when healing on my scholar. I wonder if i was the one that walked you through it haha. Most probably not though.

I was in a party on Ultima. A few of the party members were stuck on everyone skipping cutscenes. Now I do that and watch them again in the inn, but it doesn't bother me if other people do it or not. Reason for skipping though is they thought it was going to get down to the very last minute to beat the dungeon. So one person in our party keeps asking for him to skip and he doesn't so they start insulting him and then starts the boss fights without him. Then it got to the point to where everyone was complaining with each other during the fights and not doing their jobs.
I so wanted to hit duty finder and leave, but I'm not the type to abandon the team regardless of the circumstances unless everyone agrees. For the people with those attitudes like that, please lighten up. It's just a game that hasn't been out very long. So what if you don't beat it in a day. You have the rest of forever to do it too. Things work better if we all work as a team.
I was be-littled in the Final story line dungeon because I watched the first cut-scene. After I got out some told me I needed to skip cutscenes so we dont time out, I told him I would click fast but first time and honestly they are some cool fucking CS's so I was going to watch them. Then I got told how retarded my name was I got asked if I thought I was cool for leveling Bard first ect ect. I just kept saying "lol" and we finished the dungeon "me watching cutscenes" with an hour to spare. People : /
Well done!
Now that made my day. I've been fortunate in most of the groups I've joined through DF. Had a group today that literally trucked through Brayflox's Longstop and the tank gave us all a head's up of what to expect. I jumped into an existing party for the same mission last night and they were at Aiatar, but there was no direction really. Needless to say, it didn't end well.
I hate to say it, but because of the way some people are, I don't really say that I'm new and haven't done that one yet. Sad as it is to say, I just go in and do what I normally do.
Good for you OP. I ran into my first jerk the other day. Doing sunken temple he said it was his first run (tanking) and he was running around without everyone and dying to temple bees, then had the nerve to say I was a shitty healer and just bashing the party in general. We all left him. I wonder if he ever got through the thing after that? At any rate I don't understand why people are so rude. If someone in the party is doing something wrong it's easier to help them do it right than it is to call them names.
For example, the first time 3 of us were doing titan but our random tank guy had done it before. He REALLY helped us out. He was patient and hopped into mumble with us even after wiping several times he stuck it out and we beat it. Thank goodness for helpful people like him <3

Hes louder and more vocal, so he clearly knows what he's talking about. I hope you took his charitable advice to heart and left. (Him all alone in the duty finder that is)it's cool. me and a few of my FC-mates (? is this even a thing?) where messing around pugging HM garuda and got told by some gladiator that our gearscores were too low and he wished all stupid n***ers that queued for garuda without a high enough gearscore would kill themselves or some such nonsense. pretty sure gearscore isn't even in this game. thanks wow, for this beautiful addition to the mmo community.
