Tonight in Ifrit Hard-Mode--- Tanking on Warrior---
Soon as we entered I told them this was my 1st time doing this on ARR and I had beat it several hundred times on 1.0. I asked them if there was anything different to please let me know. I used proper grammar, spelling, and so on. No one spoke up about anything different but instead told me to leave and others called me an ebay account. I was called "Retard" and "Gay" and you name it, including Mom bashing and so on. One of them stated "You ebay accounts always make us die 1000x before 1x win, just leave!" Anyways, I'm tanking it like it's the easiest ever, no one dieing or anything, so when it was down to ~5% I said "Ebay this" and left the fight

Moral of the story kids, just because you don't know them, does not mean you can get away with bashing random people.

And since there is a second tank and you are a useless warrior anyway, the other tank went on to finish the last fight without issue.

There are really some horrible people that play these games. Being on the internet empowers these idiots. The things I read on these forums and the people I encounter make me ashamed to be a member of the same species. Like the poster above, I wish you have a video. That was just awesome. i started tanking with my PLD yesterday, did the first few instances (including copperbell mines) and have to say that everything went smooth. One time had to tell a DD with topaz carbuncle to please attack the markey enemys und to PLEASE take away this carbuncle, but that was it. 4 runs till now, 4 nice groups. We will see what future brings. But I never had any issues using the dungeon tool in WoW and I played for several years.

I don't doubt that the ones talking all this crap to you deserved it, but in situations like DF, you have to realize that you will never see these people again. I'm willing to bet at least 3-4 of the people you left to die (although if it was 5%, unlikely they wiped) didn't say one word to you.

I've had this happen many times in many games with LFG dungeons, where most of the people don't say anything, but one person talks enough crap to cause the tank or healer to screw over the entire group. You are screwing over 1/2 the group who didn't deserve it because your skin is too thin to look past the immaturity.

Then these people should have spoken up instead of letting him get bashed like that. Why should he help people that treated him that poorly and others that didn't speak up against this rudeness?

What you should have done, is use the tank LB3 when the nails spawned, then left. That would have guaranteed a wipe. It's impossible to kill those nails without at least the melee LB3. Now THAT would have been showing them the business.

It's not a story, I've done it. Talk to me like trash I'll leave and wait 15 minutes while the dps and healers sit there waiting 40 minutes on a tank for 1 boss. I enter every dungeon respectful and courteous, but if people go off on me for no legit reason, when I'm not even doing badly, yeah I'm out.

True or not, Ifrit 'Hard Mode' is incredibly easy. Really no reason to give players new into the instance any crap like they did. Shame that most people think they are free to act like total ass in Duty Finder since you "might not" see each other again.
