I really think we need a duty finder blacklist, something that shows each member's "karma" into the notice before we decide to accept a duty finder invite.

Ya I was hoping one would be able to friend other people through Duty Finder and create server-wide groups that could party together again through Duty Finder, was kinda sad to see that that doesn't seem to be the case atm.

Both of these are much needed.

I've played with some awesome ppl via Duty Finder, and some terrible ones as well... More than avoiding the bad players, I really want to play with the good players again.

The unfotunate thing is that YES the chances are the majority of DF groups will be helpfull and kind but there will be idiots sooner or later (atm later) it's these idiots we remember most.

Ive had it myself, the dps that runs around like an idiot attacking what he wants even tho mobs are marked then wiping and me getting shouted down about how he cant tank x mob by himself (?) and giving me pointers on being leet, to finish off asking why I use both overpower and flash...after explaining that I love overpower (I do) but it is limited to a frontal cone and since ive been forced to re-aggro targets all round me its more efficent to use flash as its 360 he replys "oh really" Im pretty glad I ignored all the advice he gave.

Maybe instead I should have took the advice this thread offers and just asked him why he was trying to tank anything? If he was so much better he could go ahead and tank it from there and in the future maybe I will.

Maybe Tanks and Healers should in future just not put up with it and if we find ourselves in a group that has idiots in we should stop ask them to leave!

If its the tank or healer that are doing it I would say stop and ask them to leave.

Sooner or later people need to realise if you act like a pratt your not going to get stuff done faster but, not get stuff done at all!

Tonight in Ifrit Hard-Mode--- Tanking on Warrior---
Soon as we entered I told them this was my 1st time doing this on ARR and I had beat it several hundred times on 1.0. I asked them if there was anything different to please let me know. I used proper grammar, spelling, and so on. No one spoke up about anything different but instead told me to leave and others called me an ebay account. I was called "Retard" and "Gay" and you name it, including Mom bashing and so on. One of them stated "You ebay accounts always make us die 1000x before 1x win, just leave!" Anyways, I'm tanking it like it's the easiest ever, no one dieing or anything, so when it was down to ~5% I said "Ebay this" and left the fight

Moral of the story kids, just because you don't know them, does not mean you can get away with bashing random people.

I wish you left them in 10% or 20%, those idiots will die for sure lol! They don't know that a tank is the best buddy they can have in a party.

Buffing Party when another WHM asks us why im buffing.. after a thorough explanation we got into the fight: hit by every dash,every plume,every eruption, incinerate, swipe you name it, he was hit by it, he died like 7-8 times easy, the tank called him out on it because it was costing me a RIDICULOUS amount of mana to keep him up, and because he was a WHM i couldn't leave him down because 4.2k mana pool doesnt suffice a whole team against this guy on hard

Called wipe the tank told him to dodge more otherwise its not gonna happen, the guy then proceeded to state how '' other people got hit but didnt get any ''abuse'' '' Then ran to the wall closest to the spawn circle, sat down and started crying, the tank then decided to initiate whilst having a text war and the white mage turned round and said '' If you apologise, i'll start healing again ''

While this seems funny at first was all 7 people harassing you? Or did you just wrong 2-3 people in the party who were just trying to get gear? Doesn't this make you just as bad as them? This is why there is a report button. I sadly would have reported you for intentional griefing and them for harassing.
