Instanced zones don't work (look at Age of Conan) because they don't matter to anyone else besides the people who own the zone. In a MMO you need to foster a sense of community and you can't do that unless the players tread a common ground.... literally.And I don't think you realize that people will mostly populate the new zones or gather to a common one (in our case, Ul'dah).
Just saying, I'd rather have my own instanced room that my friends can come into. Hell, they should do like PSU and you can sell your stuff from your instanced room. It was nice to have that.
