Very serious. WoW is based on some of the most obsolete concept of the MMO field.

While I can appreciate the sentiment, I would rather not have lag. And anyway, interacting with other cultures through an MMO kind of defeats the point.

And pray tell, how would it defeat the point?

Even if you have had a few selective instances of playing with JP or french or spanish or whatever, you might have had better experiences, and possibly more frequent experiences, if you had played on a server with people you could actually converse with.

That's an absolutely arbitrary statement, and false considering that most non english speakers actually DO make an effort to speak english.
