A bad experience during dungeon run

Why this topic?
I think it's better to make clear what's the one and only point of this topic:
A way to deal with people disrupting the game experience with toxic behaviors is needed.

This is what happened:

We enter "The Stone Vigil" dungeon with:
PLD, SMN (me), BRD, SCH. All is good until, after a pull, I get aggro on a Ziz and I die (my bad), so does the whole party soon after.
PLD says: "good job you killed us all" (legit).
I ask if he can just tank the Ziz first to avoid problems. He goes silent and just refuse to tank from that point (he just followed us and rolled on every loot). We had to try and finish with just 3 people and we failed ofc...

TL;DR:
One single guy busted a dungeon run for the other three people intentionally.

This is the answer I got after calling, in desperation, GM support during the run:



Yes... because leave and retry after 50 minutes in and getting to last boss is the solution.

The three of you should have just stopped when you realized he wasn't going to tank. Or run into a boss fight, initiate it, then run right out before the area locks. Waste his time and wait for him to drop group.

Yeah I honestly would have just left and old the others to do the same. This kind of stuff didn't happen in 1.0, not u tip this game invited in a bunch of a@^holes from other games that are full of them

Sadly, some of them have never played FFXI and have no idea how the party system is working but calling GM to kick someone is no excuse. The tank wasn't breaking the rules.

Being the first to leave also gives you a 15 minute lockout from Duty Finder. Got that after leaving a dungeon because the healer and tank were complete morons. After leaving, got a tell from my friend DPS that the healer was blaming me for being a poor DPS, this is contrary to the fact that my DPS abilities mostly get compliments.

Happens. Had this dude named Carry Me in a dungeon. Was saying healer sucks etc. However, These people think that mages have infinite MP pools especially when they do things stupid. Then they start calling people out and acting like an ass. I will not have any of it. If someone wants to be a dick, I just 'Leave Button' I do not normally pug, but when I do you sometimes run across morons. It is part of the game and ya it sucks. Honestly though, let them think they have a huge Epeen and move on. Nothing to do about it now. If you have his name post it on his server forums. Word gets out about this and people will not que with them because they know that they will be wasting their time.
