Are there EN guilds/players on JP servers?

With all this crap happening on EU/NA servers you'll find a bunch of them - but should SE finally fix all errors ... I don't think so.

I play on a JP server and live in the US. Only because I missed my chance to server-swap on my 1.0 character. I play on the Aegis server with a couple friends and have had no problems logging in during evening hours (central time) but when I try to play in the A.M. it is tough (because of the peak times in JP). There seems to be a fair number of english-speaking players on my server though. I would liken it to the ratio experienced on most of the FFXI servers.

There are plenty of English speaking people on the jp servers. I play on ifrit when I have time to play. During the week it was no wait at all to get on for me and now its weekend I have ran into some congestion on the servers but I still get on within 5-30 minutes depending how long I wanna try to get on before I have to go do something else. With these new servers and current server expansions for the crowding coming I to effect soon it will be no problem getting on anytime tho. I can say that if you like the rudeness and spamming of na player to wait for te update and stay on the na servers. If you don't like that stuff the jp servers are great as I have yet to see any rudeness or spamming. I haven't even seen a gold bot yet on jp servers.

Not true. All the servers labeled [LEGACY] in the JP datacenter are filled with EU/NA people that didn't transfer and are either stuck there or want to be there.

No. Cut scenes and text are in the language u have set for the game. Only the Japanese people talking is in Japanese

Complaining incessantly is definitely a western trait. I personally love playing on JP / Ultima

Yup there sure are! Myself and the other Guardians of Concord are located in Ixion. =] There's quite a few of us active daily.


Good luck if you decide to transfer or reroll on a JP server! The Japanese are very friendly and the translate function in game makes communication a lot easier than it would otherwise be.
