Coeurl mount?

i bought the collectors edition and got the helm of light, baby behemoth, bahamut armor, and coeurl mount. but it says im not authorized to use the mount. im level 11 ATM and saw a lvl 7 character on said mount ._. how do i use it

Before unlocking mounts you need to do a quest at around level 20. The character you saw on one below 20, was probably a level 20 character on a secondary class.

You need to get your Chocobo first.
It unlocks all mounts to be used.
