    End game character advancement would be super. However, I don't think 50 will be cap once the game relaunches(huge patch+PS3) so in honesty all spending time on that kind of thing would accomplish is taking away time from fleshing out the game into what it has to turn into to survive.

    Creating content that less then 30k players will use and then have them pissed off the time was wasted with a cap increase anyway would be silly.

    As much as all of us are near-endlessly waiting for huge changes, these aren't it.

    This game should still be in BETA! You can't be asking for end game content...when the game is in this kind of state. Sure the majority of the current player base is waiting for something to do...but you got to realize where this game is coming from. Read the last 3 months news releases and notes and you tell me that there isn't being anything (or much) done??

    NO...get the god damn game stable and major bugs out before you even ROLL OUT CONTENT. There are possibilities still that may drastically change how XIV is played. The game is not even ready to be released...lets be honest. The first team SCREWED UP BAD! They rushed a incomplete game out to the open market. One month BETA period LOL...MW is still in the air...the whole battle system is still in the air and you want end game content? How about we get some in-game content first?!!?

    as much as i wish we'd get new content allready, i still wish to get fixes first.
    every time we get content before the core elements aren't fixed, we'll need a rebalance afterwards.
    and the rebalance will then again need a balance to get rebalanced.

    I'd take the real, core, fundamental changes to the Combat System as you talked about after the Player's Poll, over another 20 mid-level NMs like the ones in Patch 1.17.
    If you understood game development you would know that you don't have the whole team working on one specific part of the game, its obvious the team working on the NM's had a lot less work than the battle system team and that is why we got them before.

    We did get new content, NM's and more side quests, try them out sometime you might surprise yourself how fun they are.

    i did the nms together with my shell allready, and i tried some of the new side quests.
    while i liked the nm hunt, i hate the current side quests.
    i'm enjoying quests like the current class quests alot more then the side quests.

    i'm talking about real content, dungeons, instances, something like limbus or dynamis in FFXI.
    something you can do over and over, and still not get sick of it because it's so fun to do.

    Hi Jinko,

    I do understand what you're saying. But of the 20 mid-level NMs they added for Patch 1.17 (along with the nerfing of the current 5 NMs to make them "balanced" for the 8 Party Maximum), they could've done this instead:

    * 18 mid-level NMs
    * 2 high-level NMs
    * Balanced the current 5 NMs to make them a fun challenge with, say, ~5 players, instead of the current *3* players (they are really too easy right now if you go in with 6 or more Rank 50 players).

    The 2 high-level NMs could follow the same pattern they established for the 1.17 20 NMs: Recycle an Inferno Drake or Doomvoid Guivre model, scale it up 10 - 20% in size, and balance its HP and give it a name, "Infuriating Iggy the Inferno Drake" . The Guivre models in this game are *AWESOME* and most people don't fight them on a regular basis.
