Would it make sense for an exp boost?

Would it be silly for players that are on existing servers who are willing to reroll on other servers due to problems with 1017 and server congestion get an exp boost on the fresh new servers?

Maybe to save them just a bit of time, yes I might be rerolling but just a suggestion.

Yes I will probably end up losing all my collectors edition stuff since I got it out of the mail and used it on this character, but I'll be more than happy to reroll if we do get an (x%) amount of EXP as a boost. Although I don't see that it would be too appealing to many if there is no bonus let alone a reason.

Because I'm not expecting that much right now to be quite honest. It would be easier for us, but I'm not expecting us to be able to do it till a later date. And I could get to 50 with an exp boost before this server transfer comes out anyways.

Stupid suggestion? To some eyes, yeah. I guess people who don't get what they want and demand transfers right away.

Im against this idea, people who did preorder the game and/or bought the CE ( just like myself ) received a head piece of gear that serves this purpose. It grants us a 20% Xp boost until lvl20.

I'd feel like i wasted my money if everyone who did not preorder / bought the CE, could have access to this boost, or even to a greater one.

10% Exp boost until level 10. Doesn't mean anything, no one knew what the helmet did anyways. And just that itself was kind of a let down.

I'll just add to this down here since i need to bump this thread anyways. With server transfers the day that the new servers get implemented, EVERYONE will do it.

You might not think everyone has the same idea as you, but really.. it does. And to new comers just buying the game it would almost feel like a legacy server.

People would just AFK in there then, it doesn't really solve the problem. You'd just need to implement an AFK timer.. But wait people will just auto-run in their inns.

I don't really see a fix for that unless they put in a 'collision' stop walking effect. But I don't see that happening too soon either.

You're right. For some reason I thought the bonus was only given for the time you were logged out in your bed.

Yeah, oh well though. Even with these new servers I don't understand what they're trying to get at. It just doesn't look too appealing to people who are already on these servers.

Who knows, maybe lots of people will reroll but I doubt it.
