Glad to see that you'd cause a wipe and give 3-7 other people repair bills all because you don't like being asked to skip a cutscene. Maybe watching it anyways and not acting like a child would be better?

Petition SE to add in the option under Duty Finder to allow first-timer or not. Win-Win.
... or, make your own group w/ people on the SAME SERVER.

I'm going to watch the cutscene. I'm interested in the story. The speed rush is of no concern to me.

By all means, watch your cut scene, I say. I'll be skipping it just in case, and waiting patiently for first timers. Seriously, it takes longer to leave, requeue and wait for a whole new group of people to watch their cut scene than to just wait. even as a tank.

Luckily, I enter all of the dungeons my first time with the same old group of people, and no one complains when we decide to watch our cutscenes. :P It makes leveling slower to stay in pace with the others, but far more fun. :P
Anyway, ignore those who bring you down for watching cutscenes.
Besides, I feel endgame you should be primarily grouping with your FC/LS members anyway and not using DF. XD
I like the way you gloss over the way people have been "asking" others to skip cutscenes, as though it's all nice and polite. Excuse me if I'm not polite back. You get what you give.

So, honest question here... The only time I've heard of my friends complaining about people watching the cutscenes were when watching said cutscenes made it so you had no room for wipes or error in said dungeon. Basically, watching the cutscenes took so long that if they made any sort of mistake, they were not going to have enough time to complete the dungeon.
I think a lot of the complaining (at 50 at least) would die down if maybe the dungeon counter didn't continue to go count down while the cutscenes were going on. I'd rather watch the cutscene, but I also want to move on with my story without having to do the dungeon a second time just because we wiped once or twice in a dungeon we've never done before.

The Guild Wars "skip crowd" was the most hilarious to me, because there's basically nothing else to do in GW except go through the main stories once.I have seen the "Skip" crowd in a number of games (star wars, guild wars, vindictus) and my answer is always the same. I will skip them after i have seen em all the first time. Having the inn is nice but i agree that it's not the same. However i also agree that the timer should pause while some one is watching it and have the door locked so the party couldn't abuse the paused timer.

Oh heheheh, excuse me. I thought you were saying you would just bail on people that want to watch cutscenes and requeue.
