Bots Report

I understand that SE is really busy with trying to add servers and get all of the problems with the launch resolved, however I wanted to start a post about the bots that are going around trying to sell gil and spamming the in game chat... But if everyone gives some input we can hopefully get these names banned from the servers... I'm not sure if SE is watching the blacklist but if so many people are blacklisting people they should be taken off the servers...

I dont think you are allowed to specify names on forums. You can write a report/submit, somewhere thou.

As someone else has told me, what I've been doing when I receive a tell or see the shout spam.

1) Blacklist the name so you don't see the spam anymore.
2) Go to the Menu > Customer Support and there's a place to report Cheaters (based on the description gil sellers fit in that category). Try to fill it out thoroughly.
3) Hope they can get to them and ban that account.

Yeah it's against the rules to name/shame on the forums. Reporting botters through the customer support system won't stop them making more the second they lose the account, that was proven in FFXI and in other MMO games.

Reporting them won't do a thing. The only thing that will stop them is players not buying their "Services" and the Players getting banned if they do.

I tried to report ingame but it wasn't working at all... I did black list them but figured that no one else was able to report either I use ps4 version when I had this issue
