    [dev] BEHEST - Solution to limited players

    There is a simple solution SE could implement...

    Force players who are joining a Behest to not be in a party already...
    Auto group the players who join into groups of 8
    Each group will have their own mobs to attack

    They could increase the behest time back to 1 hour if they do it this way.

    Please implement this SE, seems so simple, yet very effective.
    No one gets blocked out, people get to play and maybe even meet other people.

    Another idea behind this might be the ability to sign up to the behests not only at the camps, but also at "Special Behest NPC's" where you can sign up to do any behest anywhere in the world from any one of these NPC's, and once you are done, it teleports you back to the NPC where you signed up.

    Another spin-off that could happen is the ability to do behest every hour, but maybe not always on the hour. Where once 8 people sign up, they do the behest at that moment, not always waiting till the top of every hour. Then once its done, you must wait 1 hour to be able to join another behest. You would see the behests and how many are signed up and waiting to go. This way you can put your name on a list (sign up) and then go do something else. Once 8 players are signed up, it gives a warning that in 2-3 minutes you will be teleported to the behest you signed up at. Once done, teleported back to the sign up npc.

    the best solution is for people not not all clump into a single camp when they have 2-5 other camps to choose from at each range

    Cant believe no feedback or anything, everyone agree with this? is that why the thread is going away? I've seen less constructive posts get 100x the feedback.

    This forum needs to focus on the constructive posts with good ideas and anything that sucks, let it die.

    Do a majority of people disagree with this idea?

    i agree with the auto party grouping for people signing up for behest, that would make it easier and stop lone wolfers fucking it up.

    as for the rest.... eh. Not that bothered, dislike the 'special behest npc' idea. sounds more like an instance queuing system to me.

    People need to learn there are more than 1 camp per level range, SE shouldnt have to hold your hand even more to "make it right" for you.

    I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!

    I think there are enough posts on this subject that it's fair to say that this old retort just don't work for me. There is no reason not to correct this. Noone should have to walk the world to participate in a behest. We should be able to participate in a behest when we get there.

    I think the solution is perfect for solving the problem with popular behest camps, but it might make the 'ghost town' problem even worse regarding other less popular nodes

    Lets think about this... What if the population of the servers were 10 or 20x as many players and this small amount of players are having issues getting in... multiple camps are not going to support this. Its going to turn off those players who get blocked out constantly.

    This solution needs to go in before the growth. Or else its just gonna be complaint after complaint that people can never get into any behest.. REGARDLESS of CAMP.

    Behests make me so mad! They are such an easy way to gain experience, yet people don't take advantage of this at all. So many times I see people just standing around while a behest is being readied, and they're not in parties or anything. If you're soloing the game it makes it much easier because you don't have to rely on parties all the time, but come on, join a behest now and then. sheesh.
