Hey... how about we fix broken stuff first?
Hey... how about we fix broken stuff first?

If you want broken stuff to be fixed, at least wait them finishing adding them lol! Its like a convenience dude telling the person that just entered the shop with a baseball bat to clean up what he already broke!
Give dev team time to finish messing the game so, then, they can start fixing it =P
Pretty sure it is just a suggestion - want to see - type of thread and conversing about what some people may want to see. No one is demanding this be implemented last I checked?
And transformers are a fantasy type of genre considering they don't actually exist lol. I was just stating the way there were implemented into 13 was nice, I didn't say those exact type of Summons so either way would work for me.

Fixing stuff and coming up with ways to improve something in the future are not mutually exclusive things.
Plus, nobody said this was a priority. Just giving people something to chew on while we're waiting on things to get working. I wouldn't want to play a summoner with a broken battle system, anyway (okay, maybe I would, but I wouldn't like it!).
I love how the reaction to a single unpopular opinion is to play gang-up on one fellow. It's pretty rude to respond by going "yea, what they said" because somebody's thoughts on something differ from your own.
No one is being rude, just getting rid of people who have nothing important to say and just want to throw a jab in for no reason. His comment had nothing to do with the conversation at hand. He chose to post before reading and to be a debbie downer
Anywho, I just liked the idea of when you were in a boss fight you could either A. beat the living crap out of the boss and build up a timer then after the fact MOUNT it and do even more damage. That I felt was the amazing part. B. the Summons were elemental so you could do more Damage with Odin which was lightning based against certain boss/mobs etc. That was another cool factor.
Even though their animations were a bit repetitive you could still switch your char to someone else and watch that animation. For me, it never was boring. If they were to bring it in, I am not sure if I would want that exact same system but the way they implemented it was great. Maybe being able to take control via first person like it is you? Or shit, maybe even transform into it. Like casters could cast an awesome spell on themselves and a huge beam of light takes over the body and you start seeing the transformation... That would be intense.
