World always full? How does Square Enix expect to have paying customers??

have you read, they are upgrading and adding new servers during tonights maintenance, hopefully it will fix alot of these issues but i somehow think the 1017 boss won't be defeated for awhile unless people quit playing

Before you post YET another rant about the exact same thing as 10000 other people already started topics for, READ the notifications in the game login screen and the maintenance, status and information messages on this forum. There is maintenance today to install new servers, increase the capacity of the Duty Finder (and optimize it) and increase the concurrent user capacity on the existing servers. It's all there, you just need to read and think before posting another topic.

I have given up playing the game for today. Been trying to get in for the past 2 hours on Moogle server. World full at all times. Annoying ?? Hell yes.

But yeah. I am strongly reconsidering if SE should get any more of my money if things don´t improve radically after the first maintenance.

2 thing I don´t get though ( don´t kill me just because I didn´t bother to go through 72 pages of nerdrage posts )

1. Why the heck isn´t there a kick for AFK´ers.

2. How hard can it be making a server queue on a couple of thousand instead of having people getting frustrated over not even tje slightest indication of whenever there MIGHT be a chance of getting into the game. I mean, I´d rather see I am number 872 in queue, rather than having to spam 0 button on numpad for hours.

It's one thing to add servers so people that have been waiting to create characters or people new to the game can play, but they need to expand on how many people can fit on the current worlds. It's going to be really hard to justify paying a subscription once the trial period ends if I can't effortlessly login to my game server after I get home from work. I'm not playing the spamming game with the 4-5 hours I have to play during primetime.

They are currently not allowing more new downloads of the game, thus they are working to make sure they can get that working again, so more people can enjoy this wonderful service. You haven't lived until you get to enjoy a constant stream of 1017 error codes.

they are supposed to be optimizing current servers to allow more conccurent logins as well as adding new servers tonight. Let's hope it is enough! I'm sick of it just like everyone else but i waited this long might as well wait one more night. After tonight and if the problems still exist than there simply is no more excuses for SE. They know conclusive numbers now so there is no excuse if they still don't have enough infrastructure to support the playerbase currently with room for future expansions of the base!
