Character Creation lock

I understand the server locks etc, but why on earth would SE not allow you to roll an alt.

Not like your playing both at same time ....

Realize that alts are less used with the 11/14 class/job system .. but still

You obviously don't understand the server locks if you think you should be able to create alts on your given server just b/c you were lucky enough to get into your server the first time.

Its not fair to the players waiting to create their first characters on that server so they can play with their friends if your allowed to continue creating characters on that server.

There are probably a solid dozen reasons why they've locked the servers and only one reason to allow players to who have 1 character on a server create a second character on that server during the locks. That 1 reason is to keep that player happy, which compared to all those who are unhappy they can't play with their friends is just not a good enough reason.
