    Petition - For an increase in SP cap from +10 levels to +20 levels.

    Hello

    As many of you who have ever played gladiator as a tank job may know, the current "Hard" mobs are relatively easy to tank. +10 levels for capped SP is a bit too easy in a well balanced party.

    What I propose is that we ask the dev's to increase the SP gains for parties fighting mobs 15-20 levels above their current level.

    Currently if you take a guild leave or fight a mob higher then 10 levels above you without leve links or in open world, the SP gain is capped. What I mean is theres no difference in SP for a lvl 30 party fighting a lvl 40 mob or a level 50 mob.

    Now there is two ways at looking at this.

    1. keep the SP system as is in guildleves and increase SP gain for parties grinding mobs 15-20 levels above them in open world.

    2. change SP gains in both cases.

    In summary.

    Please can the Devs have a look at the SP system for mobs higher then 10 levels above your current rank. As it currently stands there is no point in challenging yourselves in a party with people as their is no real gain.

    Additionally have a look at increased difficulty elsewhere.

    Please post in support or ideas.

    i agree i dont think we were meant to fight monsters only 10 levels higher, honestly id say if you can kill it you should get whatever exp it should be worth, there will be monsters that cause too much downtime, and people will learn what they can and cant do, even more so since now mobs have levels on them

    I think mobs in general are too weak, it's kind of insane we'd need to fight +20 mobs just to have a challenge, and how you can solo mobs up to like +6/(and +10 on certain jobs at certain levels) :/ You also shouldn't be able to duo a +10. So before they go adjusting Sp gains, I'd rather they adjust mobs difficulties to actually be difficult, and maybe then they can adjust SP.

    I think they're going to make the enemies harder after the new battle system is implemented, or at least thats what I remember reading somewhere.

    I am always frustrated by the +10 limitation. It is seriously trivial to duo a +10 mob, and fast too. Also if you've ever been in a party with 3 ARCs the monsters die instantly at +10 (Grass Raptors). If they're serious about having us use 8 man parties then they should have raised that +10 ceiling like since Novemember. Also and sorry for venting, but overworld respawn rates are absolutely tragically slow. Straight grinding is really a joke, because it's always the same camps Efts, Grass Raptors, anywhere else doesn't support anything but solo.

    If a mob is harder to fight I think you should get more sp for it. Usually this is based on the rank of the mob. If it's higher I think higher sp should be given. It's a simple concept of getting what you work for. (Outside of leves, of course. Being as those mobs are usually rather easy, but it's kinda like SE handing us our daily sp rations.)

    I'm not sure that it makes any sense to have the same SP level cap regardless of party size, either. With current difficulty, the +10 cap is fairly reasonable for solo or a party of two, but definitely too low for a party of four, and a full party of eight finishes off a +10 in no time at all.

    It is crazy we have to look for 20+ Mobs for a challenge. At R30 a R30 Mob should be an EVEN match, meaning it should be a challenge. Mobs 10+ should be impossible to kill solo or even duo, they should require a full party. Then they can make adjustments to the SP, 200 for even match 500/600 for IT++ (Mobs 10+ Ranks). So as Shiyo has said before they increase the SP cap how about buff the mobs so we don't need to fight stupidly high level ones just to find a challenge.

    Issues that raising the sp cap will create will need addressed if it happens:
    People quitting on the levequest party ideas grinding sp again beats it.
    People overcamping levels like in xi which caused:
    People overemphasizing the right jobs (someone already evoked 3 archers here as evidence raptors are too easy).
    Level dominating offensive output-you can kill a r70 mob but you can't grind it.

    I agree that the sp cap makes being good pointless, but everything in the game makes being good pointless.

    Overall in spite of that I'm for it.
