Artanas, try the trace route again, but use the IP 199.91.189.74. If that works, it is a DNS issue. The server changes might take several days to propagate to some DNS servers.

Even if the ISP was throttling, it wouldn't cause you to disconnect after connecting to the game. If you have a friend, you can try and see if you can log in from their location and see if it works. If it does, it's definitely an ISP issue, which it more than likely is. Sounds like you're using a wireless card in a desktop since you can't wire in. What you can try doing is resetting your router to factory default and try. Make sure you're obtaining the DNS automatically and not using a static one. Are you running your own private network at your home e.g. using your own subnetted ip scheme? If resetting the router doesn't work, you can try to call Comcast and ask if they have alternate DNS's you can use. The "no response from host" means it's a routing issue, which in turn, could be tied to a specific DNS issue. Then again, it could just be your ISP mis flagging the game. Be sure to fill out the form SE has on that post as well.

You guys arent reading my posts then. I CANT LOG IN. Listen....I can log into the launcher fine...the game comes up...BUT THE START BUTTON IS GRAY...I CANT CLICK IT....15 seconds later then i get a error 2002 cannot connect to servers. how can i pick the jp servers? i cant even go into the servers at all.

What im trying to do is play WITHOUT THE NEED OF A VPN. Thats the whole reason of this thread. I dont want to have to use a VPN. I want to play regulary without the application! Thats why i created this thread.

Im not trying to fix the lag i get with the VPN. I want to fix the connection issue i have without using a VPN. I dont wnat to use a VPN anymore to play a game. I can play game out there no problem.
