Someone please tell me how this would be a game-ruining end of the world feature if it was simply an option. Seriously, if you could still choose to group with friends or LS mates and complete the same content how would this ruin the game? You're not being forced to use it, if you don't like it then don't use it. How is that not a reasonable compromise?

Not everything in an online game are depending on individual playstyle. Many others have said this much more detailed so I'm going to keep it short, but it has been experienced in other games that this exact feature have been detrimental for those game communities. Communities, you know, that thing that revolves around other peoples enjoyment more than your own.

End of the world? No. Will I voice my opinion on the matter in an attempt to NOT get this feature implemented? Yes sir.
