Configure PS3 Controller with Keybind Options?

I was able to find an option ingame to switch the button configuration on the controller but only by limited preset choices.

L3 and R3 are generally useless to me and I wanted to change them to "Target of my Target" and "Enemy Targeting Me" as I see is available in the Keybind section for keyboard configuration. Is there a way to do this, that I was unable to find? I spent 30 minutes going through configurations to find a way to do this with no success.

I don't think you can, and I do think they should allow that. I don't see why there is only limited options you can map gamepad keys to anyway. Why can't I have autorun set on L3 for example?

SE: please give us the freedom to map ALL functions the keyboard has to gamepad keys.

Especially considering you can map all of the ps3 controller buttons to the keyboard. Why not in reverse?

Set L3 and R3 to "macro 98" and "macro 99." Use in game /focustarget /targetoftarget as macros 98 and 99.



Your suggestion is ideal though. Bridging keybinds to controller binds would be nice and advanced functionality of L3, R3, share, and touch pad might win the war against ability bloat.
