Doesn't it always form the weapon for whatever the job was that you started as?

If it did, it got i wrong because I started as an archer. Otherwise, it'd form depending on the class/job you were.

I'm fairly sure it's whatever class you're on as you start.
However it's class dependent, and the new jobs have no base class, so I assume sword and board is the genericest of generic adventurer looks.

I checked it in the inn, and you get the same thing as a DRK, so I'd assume the AST will also get it.

It also happens if you're a crafting or gathering class. XD

Every other class shows the appropriate weapon though. Even when I actually ran Prae as a scholar, it showed the book and I most definitely did not start as an Arcanist.

That's odd. Then again, I haven't watched that cutscene since before Heavensward so they might have changed it.
