    Nothing against SE but ...

I have this logic, and correct me if I am wrong, and I know the big maintenance is today but still:

They will add worlds to fix the congestion, but ¿what about the people who are already in their worlds and wont pay a transfer? A world that is full will remain full, and the empty worlds will get people, maybe not as much people as the worlds that are already full.

So this fixes the problem for the people that have not entered the game so far. Unless they allow a world transfer, that would indeed fix the problems ¿and what if people do not want to move from the servers? That would make the issue remain.

Honestly speaking, if they add the worlds and allow free transfer ¿would you people move from your server? Just wondering, don't know everyone's opinion about this, just mine.

I'd like free world transfers (wouldn't move myself) but from experience i know many people leave full servers, and im totally ok with letting them do so.

Read the notification in the News on your game client, one of the specific aspects of maintenance today is to increase the number of concurrent users per server, they do not specify by how many, but it is specifically mentioned.

I played WoW on silvermoon (one of the original 3 servers) and got in pretty close to launch, they did free realm transfers and it helped quite a bit

I wanted to say that, but as so many people are ignoring it, i didn't want to say anything until double checking.

I for one don't think it will fix anything. First off, your right, it will do little for the already full servers. Yoshi admitted himself that he foresees the new character restrictions already in place...ie every NA/EU server will likely take much longer to be lifted then the connection issue. So if you cant play with your buddies now, and they don't want to move, don't plan on it anytime soon. Considering how an "immediate fix" like the server issues took 10 days, I don't want to know what "considerably longer" means.

Second, the new servers will get flooded. Lets not forget that they still haven't reopened digital sales. So essentially the only people playing right now are early access, or people who bought the box. Judging by how they disregarded beta numbers regarding population and didn't realize the issue until early access..which is laughable because they HAD to know early access numbers BEFORE early access launch (because you needed a ridiculous second key, which caused a whole other lot of unneeded problems for many players), they probably haven't planned long enough ahead for that either.

I feel like they don't realize how unforgiving the MMO community is. There has yet to be a single game, no matter how great it got later (Rift is a good example) to recover from the initial exodus after a poor launch. There long term planning seems to be severely lacking.

Every game that has been released in the past 10 years has done what they foolishly chose not to. They overcompensated. Its the norm for 2-3 months into a game server merges roll in and balance and consolidate the servers in a controlled manner once the population has leveled out. They chose to..for some reason..restrict access to existing and new customers. There could not be a worse reaction in a business/commercial way of thinking. Before you say "they care about the players, not the money" don't forget that the less money they make, the less they can offer their customers.

Game is fun as hell..when you can get on. Company wise though you really cant argue a company that has done worse on a launch. At the least you can say their IT department is horrendous. How did they not have spare servers set aside in the first place? Servers never break you know.../sarcasm. Hopefully its not bad enough to cause a long term impact ruining the potential of the game later on. Every MMO had issues...like instability or a quest not correctly popping, not denial of service.

I hope things get better soon..I just gave up trying to log in and I'll see how this goes in the next month or so.
