    Heavy Strike = 2 hits | Light Strike = 1 hit

What I'm referring to are the two animations that pugilist has the chance of using when you attack. One hits a single time, and the other hits twice, both depleting the same amount of Stamina..

I feel that it would be a brilliant idea to make it so that Light Strike is ALWAYS the single hit animation, and that Heavy Strike ALWAYS do the double hit animation.

I just find it infuriating when I'm in the middle of combat, in dire need of TP, and I get 3 single hit animations in a row, depleting the same amount of stamina as if I had hit twice but robbing me of the TP and damage I would have otherwise gained, and leaving me with a mess of wasted stamina.

I'm not sure what you are referring to. Most of the time I get TP just fine unless it's an incredibly evasive target. Why are you using Light Strike to gain TP though?

    Light strike hits 1x
    Heavy strike hits 1x
1x equals both fists hitting, 1 fist means you missed or were evaded
The 3-4 hits you see are because pugilist weapons do 2 attacks, so on 3 punches, that means one attack landed, the other was evaded or missed.

So, you're just a little confused as to what is happening.
No worries, it happens to us all from time to time.

I've never had any problems gaining TP as a Pugilist. Both Flurry and Pummel are amazing for TP generation, not to mention you can steal Invigorate from Lancer if you really need it. Also aside from Victimize all the Pugilist's weapon skills require no more than 1k TP.

By which you obviously mean "as much TP as you have, but at least 1.5k"

I dont think you guys understand what I mean. My pgl is rank 46, and I miss a LOT (I have over 150 dex with gear on.. lol, It drives me mad), I know what missing looks like

What I'm referring to are the two different animations that Heavy Strike, Light Strike, and Pummel do. There is one where it hits with two punches, and one where it hits with 4 punches. What I'm saying is that the animation where it hits once (two punches) should be on light strike only, because not only does it take the same amount of stamina when it decides to randomly use it, but it gives half of the tp and damage you would have gotten if it had hit twice (four punches). I wouldn't mind this as much if it were under my control, but again, its completely random.
Its kind of odd in the first place that we have two hit animations, and not just a normal hit and a critical hit like everyone else?

I still think you're confused. Maybe you can post a video on youtube to show something that I may be missing.

I think I know what you mean. It seems that all of our attacks are capable of hit once, twice etc.. such as sometimes heavy strike with just toss out 2 jabs then another time it will toss out 3 punches and so on. Most of the pugs normal attacks have this randomness of punches we throw out. I think what he means is why don't light strike "always" hit once and things like flurry always hit for the 3 hit combo etc... Honestly I would love to know if I hit flurry I was gonna dish out 3 swings regardless of miss / landed hits.

I've never seen light/heavy not do 2 strikes or Flurry not do 3 strikes, so I still have no idea what you're talking about. . .
