its the server, some were char creation locked sooner then others, which meant less "players waiting to play" issue.

Lets say the cap is 10K players per server/world

Behemoth had probably 25K players create toons wanting to play. Only 10K can play at once though, leaving around 15K sitting with 1017.

other servers managed to char creation cap (CCC) much sooner, so manybe only 12K players were made, and only 2K wait, making the "issue" seem like not a big deal.


Server congestion is only something we can guess at though, we don't have any real numbers to go by.

But hopefully this makes things clearer for everyone. It's not just a issue for a few worlds, it's every world - but some do not notice it as much due to the amount of chars created VS population limit.

So to avoid further drama, I suggest everyone uses the little yellow triangle at the bottom right of the original post and simply ask to have it taken down for inciting fighting.

Pretty much this. Us Behemothian's can't do shit really. It's one packed server from the get-go, one of the first to be full. =_= I regret it now.
But since all servers are fubar'd doesn't matter lol.

Actually it's a fair comment.
I have as much right to come here and say I CAN play as you all do to come scream/shout/threaten with your self-entitled behaviour because you lack patience.
People are sick of seeing self-entitled LoL (where toxicity is so bad the company actually had to act on it), and WoW (where Blizzard takes the ostrich path and pretends it doesn't happen) people come and scream, shout, demand and threaten because they can't immediately play. Most of you come from toxic communities where your behaviour is commonplace.
Well not everyone is having issues. Not everyone is a screaming, ranting, demanding spoiled brat.
And it is about time more people that can play said so to balance out the 100 threads a minute you toxic people spew forth.

The absolute last thing I want to see is FFXIV community turn into the cess-pool that makes up those other two communities.

but by doing so you are just as bad as those people you complain about, at least they actually have issues and post it in a technical support forum. Where as you according to your own admissions do not have any issue thus no need for technical support! you simply here to bitch about those that bitch which is just as wrong. 2 wrongs do not make a right. Yep, just finished another day of logging in and out when I wanted. Playing the game when I felt like it.
Oh wait......I think I had 1.....yep 1 time of 1017. But then straight in again. Looking forward to doing the same when I wake up later.

Must have picked the right server I guess.
