One solution to end the server woes...

SE needs to implement an AFK timer. Period. The reason why the servers are full is that people have realized that they will not get kicked out if they leave the game running. This is also the reason why the que system is not working correctly, where you will get in a que, and then go to login and it states that the world is full. This is the reason why the login servers are going down constantly because everyone is hitting the login servers repeatedly due to error 1017. Every other game that I can think of has an AFK timer of some sort. Why the devs did not think about this is beyond me, but I hope they put something in place. And if you flame me because of the suggestion (which by now i assume it is considered beating a dead horse), then you are part of the reason the rest of us can not have an enjoyable game experience, so thanks.

I actually think it's getting worse too. :/ I used to be able to get in after about 30-45 mins, now I usually can't get in at all. Also, during off-peak hours, I'd be able to log in without difficulty. Now, the worlds are full even in the middle of the night or in the early morning--I'm thinking a lot of people are staying logged in for fear of experiencing what... most of us are experiencing. @_@

Blame the PS3-players ... if everybody would just log out when they finished playing we wouldn't have any problems. Well ... men are egoists ..

Blame PS3 users? I take offense since I am a PS3 player. I, for one, will not allow my system so remain on for more than an hour if I'm not playing it.

Only teasing but it would make more sense to leave a PC on for hours compared to a PS3, cause PS3's have an active afk timer. If the system remains on for more than a certain time period without action it will automatically shut off.

Derp post. Yes blame the PS3 players for everything wrong in this game. It's annoying. Quit.
I don't care if it's PS3 or PC. It's whoever the hell that is logged in all the time and never wanting to get off.
- Increase current server capacity.
- AFK system.
- More servers.

This and have data centers that are not running these servers on Windows 95.

Been trying to log in for about 6 hours now. at one point i even got queue 20th and then kicked for 1017 immediately after

I honestly think we wouldn't have this 1017 problem if people logged out properly, But ah well hopefully they will fix this properly tomorrow
