    A quick question regarding boxed collector's edition PC

    Hi all,

    I've been doing a bit of research and keep getting mixed answers to this one.

    Is it possible for someone with an existing SE service account for ARR PC to purchase the collector's edition boxed version PC and use the code from the box to upgrade from the standard edition without having to set up a new service account? Is this possible or is a digital upgrade or setting up a new service account the only options?

    Im wondering the same thing still

    As i have a 1.0 account from when i played a free trial and bought the collectors edition of ARR and i dont know if there is a way to use the collectors code out of the box on an existing SE account to gain the items

    Although i am sure someone mentioned they are looking into this?

    any confirmation would be great, as i dont want to pay for the digital upgrade when i have a code for the pc version of the collectors edition!

    It is not possible to register the boxed key with an existend account you NEED TO use the digital upgrade

    my information come straigth from support becasue I had the question 3 weeks ago before you could buy the CE edition because I wanted to buy it .

    No as it's not possible to register two PC versions to the same service account. One option is (as already mentioned above) to get the digital CE upgrade, other is to get the PS3 CE version instead if you're after the physical CE items as well but then indeed you'd need to have (access to at least) PS3 to be able to redeem the digital items.
