Teleporting/Phasing and Gathering Hack

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I wanted to at least notify SE of it.

I was mining in Eastern Thanalan when I noticed a character suddenly appearing at mining nodes, mining about twice as fast as the interface allows, then disappearing and reappearing at another node to repeat the process. I asked in /shout about how to report such a thing, but the player was apparently monitoring chat because they stopped the behavior immediately. I exchanged a few tells with the person, where they stated that phasing around "would be a neat trick," but nothing incriminating. Unfortunately I had not already taken a video capture before I shouted about it, so I have no evidence for it. I recommend if anyone else sees something like this, capture some video first thing.
