Healers tunneling FATE bosses but not the tank

Any tanks, or players in general, recognize a familiar pattern once you approach higher FATE events which involve sub-zone bosses and the tank will literally go from full health to dead with no healing done by those who can?

    Aggravating.

They won't even offer a raise after.

    Double aggravating.

I'd imagine they assume the tank is in a party and has their own healer, usually if I end up tanking a fate (I'm a DRG) I make it very clear in /s or /y "GUYS I AM GOING TO NEED HEALS HELP A MIQO OUT" and it usually works out.

I've done that but it has held very little positive response from those who are/can heal. It makes me wonder if they are unaware as to whether or not they get rewarded for healing as they would for dealing damage which makes me want to /facepalm a little less than to think all their focus is on the boss and their hotbar.

Annoys me a lot. I find it especially annoying when I am main tanking fates near limsa lominsa, there are at least a dozen arcanists around me yet I don't get a single heal.

I heal fates all the time lol but that's cause I was gunning for healer and set up for it(no one hangs around for my rezes either Q.Q) I can say many fates I've throw one dot on a mob then just healed and got max reward so it doesn't hurt you.
Only thing I can think of is in beta people would tell me(I can only heal party members) maybe it was changed but now that I made a healer only the AOE's and Buff's are party only single heals seem to work on people out of party fine.
    that's my 2cents.

I usually move to a point behind the own tanking in a FATE and ensure I can see his HP while he tanks and I do my own spot of damage. Most often than not I throw regen on him and heal here and there when need. I never leave a zone with people dead.

The problem isn't if we get a reward its how big of a reward we get. Most FATEs the healer will not get enough heals off to gain a gold medal. Not to mention FATEs are a cluster frack and its crazy difficult to keep track of the tank when he's moving around to keep hate in the already crazy that is mob mentality unless u lock on. Which brings us back to the not enough healing for gold. In my experience.

I've ended up kiting said fate NM until they realize I need a heal. But yeah, it's not too hard for a healer to look at what player the NM is targeted on, and even if they assume I'm with a party and/or healer.. you'd think a warning signal would go off in their head that I need a heal when below 15% HP. Not mad.. but it's annoying, sure.

Being a healer in fates I can say that if you are in my party you are gettings heals... That said if you are not in my party and in the large scale fates like dragon or behemoth even if you are either I am not able to target you through the 90000 other people there or your not even going to render for me.

I made a post about an UI issue in the "quality of life" thread about this, received almost no support.

One issue you tanks do not have to deal with, unlike being in a party, is that the healer NEEDS to click through tens/hundreds of toons/mobs all bunched together. After that then you can cast before anything can happen to the person you want to heal. Very often it takes a few tries before I can even click on the person I want to heal, now you add to the problem by having them running around like a headless chicken before they are trying to stay alive. So, do I keep trying, or just move on to the next guy that I can click?

The way FATE is currently, it is near impossible for a healer to heal, never mind doing it in time. Go ahead, play as a healer and go try healing in a FATE zerg fest and you will experience this first hand.
