Where can said Cavalry set be found?

Cavalry set is unique green gears for tanks in Brayflox so you cannot buy it. You can run it on your PGL and get Infantry set and maybe get lucky with some Cavalry set if your tank already have them and you win the RNG game. Cuirass will do just fine though, just gotta quest a bit before Brayflox cause quests at level 30 do give them, or craft, or buy them from NPC in Camp Tranquill. I tanked my way through the first like 10 brayflox before I get full Cavalry set. Now I just need an Infantry gloves and I'll move on to Qarn.

Sweet, thanks, Lemon8or! That helps a lot and gives me a goal to aim for in terms of what gear I should get as I level up and do more dungeon runs.

only leave I had was a healer that didn't heal any of us, so I told her/him to stop being lazy and got the reply "you got no idea how my class is to play so STFU" I then said that I know exactly how to play conjurer since I got a lvl 36 WHM and then he/she left (was in the second instance btw)

I had this problem in my first ever dungeon run. Not nice. The poor tank was getting wiped out. Enough eventually became enough and I just had to bail. I didn't want to be that guy, but we weren't getting anywhere and the football had started. It was the tank I really felt for though.

I play on Faerie and i believe the douchebags are pulled more toward the names of the worlds. so assholes tend to be mean so they're gunna want to play on a world with the name like bahamut or ifrit. when i chose my world i put that into factor. and i haven't met a single douchebag, luckily so far

The duty finder match-ups aren't just for your world, its for all worlds, so chances are you have played with people from bahamut or ifrit already

do they give like the GC set bonuses or better/worse?

ive run brayflox atleast 6 times n nvr even seen anything i can roll on except a belt lol would love to see the sets n thier bonuses to see if worth farming or just wait til higher dungeon :/

That being said, I've been lucky I guess and run into far more cooperative, helpful, and friendly players than the... other type.

Ive only done my first 2 dungeons and thats been the case for me 100% Totally didn't mind helping out a newbie like my self. I'm not horrible and I learn quickly but there is A LOT to learn with MMOs.
With that being said 1st run thru we had a guy up and leave and we never got another team mate in... That ended up being the most ridiculous/hilarious boss ever. We spent 10 mins running away in circles till we could kill it from behind... lol I couldn't stop laughing!!

you have to understand, a lot of these people have played wow; they are used to having everything handed to them on a silver platter.

their ranks start to thin out once you get past garuda.

Nah there's no list for that but the rule of thumb for under 50 gears is whatever level the gears is usable, the dungeon at that level will drop it.
They don't give set bonuses like GC gears but they give different stats so you'd better compare them to tell. I just like the look of them and use my seals to advance in ranks.

I didn't read all four pages, but I will say that you will run into people like this on occasion. And at the same time, you will run into plenty of people that are willing to help and do what's best for the group. Don't stress over it too much, because there is nothing you can do over it...just press forward, and let the hardheaded person leave...it's probably best for the group anyways lol.
