    Enemy AoE's still hit after leaving red zone

    I have noticed that with the Arcanist at least that certain types of AoE's still hit me even after "Dodging" the red zones, in specific the most noted ar circular blast AoE's and against Puk Hatchlings in La noscea their fireball always still hits me even after leaving its zones.

    Most front arc ones hit too example the Rabid Auroch charges and has resulted in character death a number of times.... If this is something that is still meant to happen then what point is there to try and dodge them if i'm still taking damage?? I may as well just always stand still..

    You aren't moving out fast enough, I'm guessing you are mid-cast on something and want to finish the spell, so you don't move right away. So drop your own stubbornness and move asap.

    Or it's lag.

    I get it could be "lag" but if so it would be ALL Eskills that would hit but it's ONLY the front 45degree ones and the circular ones?? so why only these ones when I see them and leg it instantly but still get hit??

    Yes lag is correct but at the same time if your character is out of the designated area for longer than 1 second and still getting hit this is bad, it means its taking way to longer to register those movements. And as someone else said this only occurs on certain skills possibly those ones with shorter cast times. I know one partial solution is to watch enemy cast bars but this does not help when your healing and cannot see this.

    Sadly enough unless the response time on this gets better I will have to stop playing this game myself. I was hoping this would be fixed by launch. While it did improve a little it's not close to being in a playable state for those people who must deal with 200+ MS latency. Especially as you progress through the game and the dungeon content gets harder and becomes far more strict.

    Funny thing is I've never encountered this in other games quite like it is in FFXIV.

    This happens to me as well.

    Today on Titan I started straffing as soon as I noticed the effect, was well outside the box when the lies disappeared and the ability went off but I still got hit, knocked of the platform and died.

    I don't see how I'll be able to progress if this isn't fixed.

    This has been happening to me more and more as I challenge the harder content. Bosses especially. I have been out of the aoe area (running far to the other side of the room for good measure) sometimes over 2 whole seconds and still get hit. It's absolutely excruciating. People assume I'm not moving, and players will leave the instance.

    By the way, I'm wired directly to my router. 50mbps. My connection isn't the issue. What could be the issue, however, is that I am playing on the ps3. Whatever the case, this needs to be addressed immediately or I, too, will be forced to quit playing. This kind of error is game breaking, and shouldn't be an issue after release.
