    Can summoner have more than 1 active battle pets?

    I heard at level 20 you can have a chocobo as an active battle pet, what about classes that have battle pets already? is it possible to have both carbuncle and a chocobo fighting at the same time?

    Yes - it is. Chocobo is then actually classed as a companion, not a pet and you basically form a small "party" containing you, one summon and one companion.

    ah thank you very much for the answer, I've always been a huge fan of pet classes in MMO's.
    I heard summoner class is kinda borked right now But I'm willing to stick with it hoping it gets better
