Can't discard Pristine Egg Cap

Steps:
1. I have 2 Pristine Egg Caps. One on Retainer and one in inventory.
When i try to discard it from retainer or from inventory, Discard button is in gray color and doesn't work.

Yes I have same issue, as well as 2 set's of af and am unable to discard the extra stuff.

Steps:
1. I removed multiple items from NPC Calamity Salvager
2. These items included Pristine Egg Cap and Vibrant Egg Cap
3. When I go to character inventory to discard Pristine Egg Cap and Vibrant Egg Cap, the option to discard is greyed out and unavailable.
