PvP Class with most potential?

The way I see it is that Bards and Black Mages will wreck at range but if you can get in melee range of them warriors/pallys and dragoons will own. I dnt monks will be able to hold their own and the healing classes don't do enough damage for them to be contenders in pvp. I feel like summoner will be average but if their pet dies they are going to be up sh*t creek with out a paddle.

I think Monks will be fine in PvP. There is more to PvP than just burst burst burst.
