    Sac pull is done all the time in FFXI and is a legitimate tactic to get rid of mobs you don't want to fight, and it has been done every since the anti-MPK update many years ago that made mobs depop. I dont' see how this is an exploit in FFXIV, unless somehow XIV's rules are vastly different from XI's. In fact, if SE fixed this by having mobs not depop when the sac dies, it opens the door to wholesale MPK opportunities.

    They could add doors that only open after you've defeated X trash mobs or make all trash mobs NM-type so that they don't depop, or something.

    well OP just keep crying about something that is never getting fixed because its not a exploit, as Garnett said its nothing new has been happening since FFXI. Also I am pretty certain that SE knows that this can be done and left it like that so it could be done since the Trash mobs are not that hard there just there to try and make the instance longer. But you keep up that crying i am sure something will get fixed

    If the dungeons weren't timed then I'd have no problem with this. But the fact that the dungeons are timed means that anything you can do to fudge the system and complete the dungeon before the timer runs out gives you a clear upper hand against one of the dungeon's built-in challenges that you wouldn't otherwise have. Whether you like the idea or not, the timer is part of the challenge and exploiting the game's aggro mechanics to bypass huge swaths of the dungeon removes a portion of the challenge that legitimate players contend with, netting exploiting players their rewards more quickly than legitimate players.

    Why is doing things faster, wrong in some way?

    Trash mobs are named "Trash" for a reason.....

    be honest your just mad you blow hours at it while they complete it 3x

    All they need to do is for dungeons to add the whole party to the hate list once the tank gets initial agro. Tank dies, enemies move to next party member until all are dead. Problem solved. Plus removing the leashing of the enemies, just for dungeons at least.

    by the way... speaking of Speed Running a dungeon, how does exp scale for clearing a dungeon in say 30 minutes opposed to 60 minutes?
