I didn't play much in 1.0, but with 90k Gil at 30, I feel decently stable.
Though, from what I hear, even with low Lv. 50 gear, repairs skyrocket to 10k per full-repair.


Gil is generated through FATEs, Leves, and Quests.
Quests are finate. FATEs require fighting; with highly negligible profit. Leves are gated with small profit. Monster drops vendor for next to nothing.

That leaves working the market to afford repairs for dungeons - Which I think is totally fine; but if everybody's doing it, it saturates the market and gradually will devalue the materials worth farming for.

I think repairs might be too expensive, when compared alongside the methods of generating new Gil into the game.

I'm not trying to make objective claims here - honestly, I just want someone to tell me it'll all be Okay and to not worry about Gil too much; because I really don't want to spend 2/3s of my time grinding rather than progressing in dungeons. ^^;
