Thread: Restoration of 1.0 feature: Allow player to sell from inventory

I see no need for this personally, it will only create more AFKers clogging up the server.

The already gave us 10 more selling spots per retainer because they took away the personal bazaar.

I would like to be able to open a bazaar while running around questing (selling OJ near vesper bay at 1000% markup!) but I understand Jinko's position on adding to the AFK problem. If and when the server capacity issues are sorted out, and AFKing is no longer a hellworthy sin, I would like to see more discussion on this.

Yes, that is a good point with the AFKers and aswell with waiting till it is sorted...so prolly never if we dont get server transfers very soon.

AFKers will not be an issue forever, and if they are 3.0 is incoming because they clearly need to completely restructure the servers again.

Meanwhile, being taxed heavily on all your sales is already starting to annoy me greatly. An alternative to selling through the Market Board is desperately needed, one which doesn't involve spamming chat with shouts, at least. Usually player Bazaars are that alternative, but right now we have nothing. I'm hoping Housing will introduce something, though. I do seem to recall something about setting up shops with them, though that comes dangerously close to 1.0s Market Wards I suppose...

I just hope people don't start selling stuff in shouts.
