you didnt roll legacy because we have goobue mounts? its not like we are bragging about having it, its new people constantly complaining about stuff we got before ARR.

I just don't want people running around on stuff I can never obtain. I mean good for you for sticking with a terrible game but I'm not going to celebrate bad taste every time somebody runs by on a huge mount. I'm loving my fresh server.

Actually the goobue became available when it became a genuinely good game. I understand not wanting to see things you cant get,as long as it isn't malice towards people who have it like some people do, and its pretty sad.

I have yet to see a topic that goes "Haha, guess what we have". I only see complaint topics that turn into "1.0 players are mean" just because we feel exclusive things should remain exclusive, which isnt at all unreasonable, unlike "i wasn't interested when a one-time thing was offered, but now i am so it should be re-offered"

Not at all. I've told people in my FC a few times that legacy players deserve everything they received. I'm jelly about the mount but I don't have any bad feelings towards legacy people.

It was meant as an exclusive gift to thank 1.0 players for sticking with the game. It should stay that way.

In the long run it won't matter either way. If enough people want Goobbue mounts, then let them have their Goobbue mount. We have Choboco mounts, Courel mounts, Ahrim mounts, Unicorns, Magitek...

If they do though, it would be nice to distinguish the new Goobbue mount from the 1.0 version, even if it is just w/ colors or something.

Just wait, there will be more things available for limited times. It's not like a F2P game where you can get everything from a cash shop at any time and at any level. In a P2P game, limited availability items serve to encourage people to maintain their subscriptions, so they don't just drop and resub later when they are bored.



Erm... SE never released FFXIV V1 for the PS3. You never bought that game. I don't doubt someone took money from you, but SE certainly never saw a dime of it.

Then you would be wrong because the same money I had paid for FFXIV V1 for the PS3 was the same money that paid for Realm Reborn yes my preorder stayed at Gamestop for years all I did was add an extra twenty for Collectors Edition.
