If people can complain about wanting the Goob mount, then I'm going to demand the Legacy Chocobo because I was only a week late.. lol..


Although if they were to release it again, I would hope they wold make it like the Legacy Chocobo: the 1.0 version a different color and/or with some armor on it or something.

SE should consider making the Goobbue an obtainable mount again. ARR new players will appreciate this limited mount that is currently for 1.0 players. I feel like I'm missing out

People are comparing this mount to the Coeurl? The Coeurl isn't going anywhere. It has been put up on the store as an upgrade package with the other DCE items. Couldn't afford the DCE at launch? There is nothing stopping you from attaining it now. That is a GOOD THING.

I have the Coeurl and I'm against it going away too. I hate seeing games take content from their consumers. It doesn't strengthen the game, it lessens it. Add content, don't remove content. Same thing for the Christmas items discussed earlier.

Devs: You want to add content to the game for events? Awesome! You want to take content out of the game or replace it with something else? That is HORRIBLE. I don't know why you guys would want to lessen your product... is it just because you are selling it to people who feel the need to be such special snowflakes?

When did we as gamers become so petty that our enjoyment in a game revolved around what others could not do rather than what we could do?

Then you would be wrong because the same money I had paid for FFXIV V1 for the PS3 was the same money that paid for Realm Reborn yes my preorder stayed at Gamestop for years all I did was add an extra twenty for Collectors Edition.

How was he wrong? They didn't release 1.0 for PS3. They released 2.0 for PS3, when they delayed it and you made the decision to keep waiting instead of getting a refund or buying something else instead... like ohhhhh I don't know... PC version? You made the choice to wait for PS3. Your choice had consequences: not being able to play till it released for ps3 and not being able to obtain things that were limited time only. Bottom line, you made the choice.

I'm a legacy player and I don't have the mount, I was too lazy to grind for it in 1.0 before I quit playing. However because I made the decision not to get it doesn't mean I should demand that it be offered. People made a choice not to play 1.0 they and some people tried it and stuck through to get it. Why should the people who play 1.0 and got the mount have their "exclusive" item taken away.

Some of the stupidest logic in this thread about it not being fair because you don't have one. I should ask the olympic committee for a gold medal because Usain Bolt has one. Or better yet, I should ask the paralympic committee for a gold medal even though I have all my appendages.

The Goobue mount is a thank you gift and a participation trophy. YOU DID NOT PARTICIPATE. How someone can ask for something without participating is beyond me.

16 pages of total QQ...So much for the forums improving with the launch of the game. Goobue mount please...pttf! Grind the storyline for your Magitek Mount, way better mount imho. Than will you not only have an awesome mount, but you'll have actually earned it!
