You appear to be confusing fact with opinion. You don't feel it will do any harm. Others disagree. Personally, I feel it would harm the trust between the developers and the community if they state something will be a one-time only offer then offer it again. There are those that may have subbed that month specifically to get the item. I actually know a couple that did.

My opinion still stands, that those who are opposing this are being rather childish about the whole situation. Again, as someone who has 1.0 Legacy, and the Goobue - there should be nothing to fear in releasing a cosmetic mount which took no real special effort to obtain.

Those who fear the full on 180 of SE giving every single 'legacy' perk to all new 2.0 are being irrational, as they cannot separate a (what I and many others consider to be a perfectly reasonable) request for a cosmetic mount and (what would be considered a far less reasonable) request for backdated legacy perks. Asking for one does not require giving the other.

Still, there are those who were in 1.0 and who still missed the goobue, why also deny them, and on what grounds?

Keep your nice Goobbue mount that I really want.（；へ：） In return I want a mount that is only available for the NEW 2.0 player's (non Legacy) that is available in an event. BUT at the same time for those who are legacy members and did not get the mount you get THAT event AGAIN.

What would be the point of re-releasing it in a limited time frame? 6 months afterward, new players will ask and wonder how they can get the mount and begin making threads all over again. If it's going to be re-released, just make it permanent.

I understand the feelings on both sides of the argument and can honestly say, I don't care if they re-release it. I got my Goobbue, I have my legacy choco, I have my tattoo. None of these things make me feel special. If SE wants to give everyone a chance at getting these cosmetic items, that's their call.

For those complaining they had 1.0 and never got a chance to get the Goobbue mount, are you kidding me? The Goobbue was available for MONTHS. If you quit the game when it went p2p and now all of a sudden are angered SE won't allow you to have something that was implemented shortly after you quit, I have no sympathy for you. At all.

For those complaining this item should be "Regacy-Onry", you are wrong. I hear your argument that SE made a promise to us by saying certain things would be exclusive...but how is the Goobbue tied to Legacy? I could have come into the game the month this cosmetic choco was about to be locked away, subbed, gotten it, and quit the game w/o becoming a legacy member. This item was not promised to us. What was promised to us was a discount, a choco, and a mark separating us from the new players and 1.0 players who jumped ship.

I should have been more clear, by this I mean make it something like a 'Spring event' or similar. i.e. only available each spring event. Thus, a limited offer, but one which repeats annually (similar to the Pitchforks etc. in FFXI).

they gave a new version of the yukata's last summer. yeah goobue was already stated once its gone its never coming back, just like the legacy chocobo it was limited.

why should they re-release a 1.0 exclusive on 2.0? its a reward for those who played during that time, if u want the goobbue that badly why dont u play during 1.0 when the quest to obtain it is on?

I dont think this should be possible.
I have my mount on the character I played with at the time when gobbue mount was available but dont have it on my current main which I will play for the rest of the times. I don't mind it one bit.

Plus Goobbues are way too big in my opinnion anywa (so pls stop AFKing in awkward places with them people!!!)
