If you go to best buy and say "Well i saw you guys had a one time ever half off TVs sale last year, but i just heard about it so you should do it again" it probably wouldn't work out in your favor. Everyone had the chance to play once 1.0 became a good game, people chose not to because of its state at launch. This is the price you pay for turning your noses up at 1.21+.

Consider this. Guildwars 2 gave bonus items to people who were account holders in the original game, did they ever make those bonus items available to everyone? no, because that would defeat the purpose of an exclusive bonus.

How about in months to come, SE put on a special 2.0 event for all those that missed out on getting 3102, 1017 and 90000, because we all know how frustrating it can be to want something you can't have Q.Q

God not this debate again, Seriously MMO players are the biggest group of epeen nerds there is. Sure tieing my shoe was hard when I was 5, but it's easy now and I don't care if it doesn't forever stay a challenge to be a testament of my abilities for all time. Thats honestly how MMO players are. I honestly don't care, make it available. The game is basically brand new again.

It's not about e-peen, it's about a promise. Part of the incentive for paying for 1.0 was the promise of Legacy Status, reduced subscription fees, and an EXCLUSIVE gobbue mount. We paid in money and time for something that was promised to be exclusively ours, and exclusively available to us in 2.0.

Honestly, the 2.0 community is garbage anyways, if these forums evidence anything, and the majority of these new players are exactly the types of people who deserve NOTHING.

Just what this game needs - *more* people with Goobue mounts. I *hate* those things. The single biggest cause of "covering up the NPC so that no one can access him or her" in this game is people on their massive Goobue mounts. It got extremely annoying at times in 1.0, particularly when it was pretty obvious that someone was doing it just to be annoying.

I just don't want people running around on stuff I can never obtain. I mean good for you for sticking with a terrible game but I'm not going to celebrate bad taste every time somebody runs by on a huge mount. I'm loving my fresh server.

Actually the goobue became available when it became a genuinely good game. I understand not wanting to see things you cant get,as long as it isn't malice towards people who have it like some people do, and its pretty sad.

I have yet to see a topic that goes "Haha, guess what we have". I only see complaint topics that turn into "1.0 players are mean" just because we feel exclusive things should remain exclusive, which isnt at all unreasonable, unlike "i wasn't interested when a one-time thing was offered, but now i am so it should be re-offered"
