I've already talked about them here. I've said that being notified when the mount is removed beforehand as warning is not the same thing as a promise of exclusivity or a promise they won't reuse the skin. If they added a quest in tomorrow with this mount they won't have gone back on anything they have said from the quotes provided. It was going to be removed for 2.0, they then notified people they would take it out during 1.23a instead. Neither statement is really a promise to never have bring it back. If anything you have shown that they decided to lessen the amount of time they were going to give people initially, showing they have no problems changing their minds on the issue.

Yes, it was no promise. It was a statement.
Don't expect it come again if SE already said a clear "No"

There will be newer and better mounts coming out in this game. The Goobbue mount was both an incentive and a reward for those that stuck around and supported the game during 1.0 that enabled for 2.0 to come out. It will not be an honorable thing for SE to just suddenly give it away now, especially to those that did nothing but bash and ragequit SE during 1.0 and returned now in 2.0. The Goobbue mount should forever be a symbol of the relationship that loyal 1.0 players and SE has.

If the loyal players of 1.0 all ragequit as well like the rest, there is no 2.0 today. Goobbue is a small thing for new players to complain about by getting a good 2.0 game.

I didn't get one in 1.0 and I still think they shouldn't bring it back. Of course I am jealous, But they earned it when it was limited time only.

I hope that it remains exclusive to those who have already obtained it and is not brought back. I did not play 1.0, am a little green when I see one, but feel that's how it should stay.

I guess because SE folded and remade the game off of user complaints and bad media that now the new users and even older users feel that they can continue to complain even after launch because they just know that SE will listen to their every demand. I guess this game is going to be the new WoW when it comes to catering to every users cries. I'm 1.0 and I could have got legacy, I didn't care about getting legacy then and I don't care about getting legacy now. The mount looks stupid to me and the rug has low quality textures. I think people just want it because they can't have it. So when they realize they suck at playing and can't get pass the Coil of Bahamut I assume they will cry about that and expect the items to drop into their lap as well. This game is going to be a handout system if SE listens to their lazy behinds.

btw...

didn't upgrade my account to CE, thus... no kitty mounts and other exclusive minion.
did buy a physical CE, but it was for PC since I don't have PS3, and thus... no kitty mounts either.

and back in 1.0:
didn't have time to manage a White Raven - Hard win, missing out that powerful accessory.
didn't manage to clear all that craft/gather story quest, left wondering how they turned out.
and some other things I missed.

so I guess what I'm trying to say is... it's just a gobbue. Can still adore it even if it's not as mount anymore. lol
This other whole new content gonna have many... many more rewards.

In the supermarket I usually go shopping, last week they gave away a bottle of wine if you bought one of champagne. I didn't buy it and I ran out of the wine bottle. I didn't care.
This week I bought a bottle of champagne, but the supermarket doesn't give away anything for it, but no problem, since I'm sooooooooo special, they're going to give me wine too, cause otherwise I will cry and cry until they give it to me.
