Lady of the Vortex

Hello. Well I am 45 and I am not able to complete Lady of the Vortex. I don't know why I am not able to continue the quest but It doesn't let me find it on the map abandon the quest so I can try it over. This happened right after I beat the Duty "The howling Eye" I got disconnected when I exited the Duty. Right after that I have not been able to continue the quest. This happened 9/1/2013, around 8am PDT. I do not know why I am not able to continue but can I please get some help on resolving this bug?

Also I am not able to talk to Alphinaud at all. because he was in the vortex where I had to fight her and I am not able to get back there. and Map doesn't work either when I click it

i have the exact problem, i beat her viewed the cutscene and when i went to exit the instance the game D/c. i came bk and was unable to complete the quest cause i think alphinaud is still outside the howling eye and theres no way to get bk there without cids airship. i killed her again to see if i land outside but it just teleported me bk where i was before i joined the duty finder.
hope this gets fixed am setting at 50 just dying to finsh the story quest off and start with my relic quest

found the fix well for me it worked
i just teleported to ul'dan the main city and the cut scene started.
but yea just teleport there and it should be ok
